Construction Before & After in Santa Clarita, CA
Anyone can say they do good work. Seeing a bathroom go from dated to dialed in, or a load-bearing wall opened up without the ceiling sagging two weeks later, tells you more than a brochure ever will. Santa Clarita homes have their own quirks: 1980s track layouts, sun-faded stucco, kitchens built before anyone thought about a pantry. Here’s what our crews have actually fixed, rebuilt, and transformed. The photos will fill in as we shoot them, but the work is already happening across Valencia, Canyon Country, Saugus, and Newhall.

Recent Transformations
Bathroom Remodel: 1990s Builder-Grade to a Real Master Bath
Before
AfterOriginal master bath: one sink, fluorescent bar over the mirror, carpet on the floor (yes, carpet, in a bathroom). The shower pan had started to rot the subfloor. We demoed to studs, replaced the rotten framing, and rebuilt with a Schluter waterproofing system (the orange membrane that keeps water from ever reaching the wood). Result: dual vanities, a curbless shower with a linear drain, and heated tile floor. Took 14 working days, including the rebuild of the subfloor.
Kitchen Renovation: Opening Up a Load-Bearing Wall
Before
AfterThe kitchen was a hallway with a stove in it. The wall between the kitchen and the family room was load-bearing, so this wasn’t a “take a sledgehammer to it” weekend job. We sized and installed a flush beam with proper point loads, pulled permits through the city of Santa Clarita, and had the inspection signed off before any drywall went back up. Now it’s one open room with an island. The biggest comment we get on this one is that the house “finally makes sense.”
Whole-Home Renovation: 1980s Split-Level Refresh
Before
AfterSplit-level in Canyon Country that hadn’t been touched since Reagan was in office. Popcorn ceilings, hollow-core doors, formica counters with the little metal edges. We ran new electrical through the whole place, replaced every door, leveled floors, redid both bathrooms, and put in a kitchen with Wellborn cabinets and a Caesarstone island. The exterior got new stucco and James Hardie trim to replace the rotted wood. This one ran eight weeks, and the homeowner’s only regret was not doing it five years earlier.
Bathroom Remodel: Tub-to-Shower Conversion for Aging in Place

Homeowner in the Saugus area needed to ditch the tub. Stepping over the wall had become a genuine safety risk. We tore out the old fiberglass tub surround, reinforced the floor joists, and built a walk-in shower with a built-in bench, grab blocking behind the tile, and a rainfall head. Zero curb, non-slip tile, and a single glass panel instead of a door. It looks like a modern hotel shower, but it’s built so they can stay in this house as long as they want to.
Home Renovation: Fixing a Previous Remodel Done Wrong

Newhall home where a previous contractor had opened a wall and boxed around a pipe with no permit, no engineering, no record of what was actually holding the ceiling up. We corrected the framing, installed a proper beam, and rebuilt the remaining space as a laundry room. This is what the 365-Day Done Right Promise means in practice: we stand behind our work because we saw what happens when someone doesn’t. The homeowner now has a paper trail, a passed inspection, and a laundry room that doesn’t bow the floor above it.
